December 2004 - January 2007Co-founder of the 2K Games label at Take 2 Interactive. Signed and commenced development of next gen original IP and licensed titles including BIOSHOCK (Irrational Games), BORDERLANDS (Gearbox), THE DARKNESS (Starbreeze), X-COM (Firaxis). Acquired Civ IP (in addition to X-Com IP) from Atari, one year prior to the release of Civ 4 which became Take 2's best selling PC game of all time. Oversaw product planning, acquisitions and publishing deals for 2K Games, working directly with the founder of Take 2. Worked closely with head of product development to establish new IP and to look for ways to further extend currently held IP and licenses. Led the acquisition of a variety of studios to build out 2K's internal development capabilities (Irrational Games, PAM, Firaxis, etc). Early research efforts into MMO extensions for 2K IP.

August 2003 - September 2004Co-founded the relaunch of the T2 Global Star label, to focus on family/casual console games to take advantage of the end of the PS2/Xbox lifecycle. Responsible for product planning and direction which included signing deals with a variety of console developers, as well as putting together and managing product development for Global Star titles (team building, milestone sign off, staff reviews). Part of the business team which made the decision to enter Take 2 into the sports business through a distribution deal with Sega Japan for an aggressively priced 2K5 sports season, which led to the key acquisitions of Visual Concepts, Kush Games, Indie Studios, and Venom. Ultimately, this led to the creation of 2K Games.

March 2002 - August 2003Negotiated deal with Capcom to release GTA 3 and GTA Vice City in Japan, both extremely successful given the historical failure of the majority of US/Euro games in the Japanese market. Led the acquisition of Mobius Entertainment, which would become Rockstar Leeds. Handled music licensing and copyright clearances for various titles.

I am also the Executive Producer for our first self published mobile game, based on a beloved global science fiction property which will release this Winter.
